Academic Recognition Banquet

The Academic Recognition Banquet is a special event that is sponsored by the education foundation. The focus of the event is to recognize the top 10% of the graduating seniors. The number of graduating seniors will determine the percentage of the students that will be honored. An additional feature of the event is the recognition of outstanding teachers. Each Distinguished Scholar is asked to identify an Atlanta ISD teacher that made the most positive influence on his or her education. Both distinguished scholars and the distinguished teachers will be recognized at the banquet.

Atlanta High School Distinguished Alumni

The purpose of the Distinguished Alumni Awards Program is to recognize and honor former students of the Atlanta Independent School District whose achievements, strengths of character and citizenship serve as models to inspire and challenge today’s students. The Distinguished Alumni Awards Committee shall establish the highest standards in conferring these awards. For more details, see the Alumni page.

Blue Jeans and Bling

Blue Jeans and Bling is a fundraising event for teacher grants and student scholarships.

Blue Jeans and Bling was held February 7th, 2015 at Indian Hills Country Club. While being catered by Big Jakes Barbecue and entertained by the country and classic rock music of CrossRoads, this single event raised $14,000 for teacher grants and student scholarships with the support of sponsors, auction donors, and our wonderful community. We are forever grateful to all who made this event a success!

Golf Tournament

Our first scholarship golf tournament held at Indian Hill Country Club on 2014 Homecoming Saturday was a fun and successful event raising almost $4000 for student scholarships! A huge thanks to all who participated and sponsored this event!
